How progressives can shape the great transformation

As the world continues to change as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, this session will discuss the fate of the world economy. It will review the political responses of political leaders to the crisis thus far. The crisis has emphasised the need for structural change, while providing a window of opportunity for leaders to implement social and political transformation. This transformation could come as a just transition and a new social contract. However, threats posed by this unprecedented period of economic, political, and social change may also emerge. Determining all of this may be if progressives are able to work together, or not.
