Bharat Ramamurti

Bharat Ramamurti is the Managing Director of the Corporate Power program at the Roosevelt Institute and a member of the Congressional Oversight Commission for the CARES Act. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Bharat served as Senior Counsel for Banking and Economic Policy for Senator Elizabeth Warren and as her top economic adviser during her presidential campaign. In the Senate, Bharat advised Senator Warren for five years on a broad range of issues. In the presidential campaign, Bharat helped develop a number of proposals, including the Senator's wealth tax and student loan debt cancellation plans. Bharat is a 2003 graduate of Harvard College and a 2007 graduate of Yale Law School.
