Lorena is a PhD Candidate in Latin American History at the FU Berlin in the International Research Training Group 'Temporalities of Future'. Her previous work experiences include being a research assistant at National Autonomous University of Mexico in the project “History and Memory of the Indigenous Peoples in the Americas” and at Harvard University in the project 'Global History of Capitalism”, among various fieldwork researches in Mexico, Argentina and other countries. She is also a frequent guest and participant at international conferences.
