Cerstin Gammelin is a journalist at one of the leading German Newspapers, Sueddeutsche Zeitung. She published various reports on the change of society in the Eastern Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall and wrote for Die Zeit, Spiegel and the Financial Times, amongst other newspapers. She also wrote several books, including the Bestseller "Die Strippenzieher. Manager, Minister, Medien - wie Deutschland regiert wird" for the Econ Verlag in 2005 and as a co-Author of “Europas Strippenzieher” in 2014. Currently, she is deputy chairwoman at the parliamentary office of SZ in Berlin, where she writes about national and international fiscal policy.
