Stefan Liebich has been a member of the German Parliament for the Left Party since 2009 and currently serves as a member of the Finance Committee. Until February 2020, he was the foreign policy spokesman of the Left Party, as well as its Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. He is engaged as a Vice-Chairman in the ‘Parliamentary Group USA’ which fosters the binational relations between parliamentarians of Germany and the USA.
